Today , Children in India are Growing in a more challenging and demanding environment. The rate of change in every sphere is rapid with the enhanced knowledge exchange and technology development, the world is going flatter.
Globalization demands a new dimension to our approach to education. We, thus have to recognize the need for a globally relevant education. Such an education would mean imparting skills that would develop mental agility in individuals to confidently interact and work in diverse environs or situations.
We are very conscious of the fact that emotional stability plays a very significant role in the healthy growth of a child. Ascent International Pre -School activities are based on a participatory spirit that reduces the inhibition levels of the students and thus assists the students in becoming aware of their potential. We promote the joy and excitement of learning and also enjoy the pleasure of our achievements. Our values of respect, integrity, curiosity and excellence are behind everything we do as a staff and as a school.
In our school especially in the pre-primary section we believe that it is the base of all education. We preserve the concept of “Childhood “, challenging and encouraging children to develop into worthwhile learners and thinkers, full of curiosity about the world around.
Our curriculum is child-centered and hence is presented in terms of activities and experience, through which children learn, because they are intrinsically motivated. It encompasses the total development of the child. Its objective being to provide organic and natural education where children have freedom of choice and the opportunity for emotional expression.
We feel the activity is important, the process not the product. We provide a stimulating enriching environment where children are encouraged to “learn how to learn”. In our pre-school children are doing ,seeing, exploring ,finding out, inquiring, that makes the process.
